Can I use this while pregnant/breastfeeding?
All ingredients in our products are generally considered safe for topical use during pregnancy when applied in small amounts. However, every pregnancy is unique, so we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider before introducing new products into your routine.
Is it safe for sensitive skin? Can all skin tones use it?
All of our products are formulated with gentle yet effective ingredients, making them safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin and all skin tones. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend you start applying every other day and work your way up to every single day.
Are any of your products anti-aging?
Yes! This is first and foremost an acne-safe skincare line. But our products do both! Our Vitamin C is the best for anti-aging, since it has peptides, Vitamin C, and other anti-aging ingredients. Our Hydrating serum is super plumping and hydrating, which contributes to anti-aging. Our Mandelic Serum will increase your cell turnover rate, keeping your skin young! Our Jelly Cleanser and essential moisturizer are great for hydrating and barrier repair.

No all of our products are fragrance free.
Are your products safe for acne?
Yes, all of our products are acne safe and made to improve acne while being barrier conscious.
Can I use these products if I’m fungal acne prone?
Yes, all of Lissy Skincare products were created to be fungal acne safe and have been tested on Fungal Acne prone skin.
Mandelic Serum questions
How do I use the serum? When do I use it?
We suggest starting out using our serum once a day, preferably at night after cleansing and before moisturizing. If this causes any irritation, drop down to every other day. If your skin handles active ingredients really well, you can work your way up to twice a day if you feel like your skin needs it.
What types of acne can it improve? Does it only help with acne?
Through verified customer reviews we have seen our Mandelic Serum improve the appearance of many types of acne including hormonal, inflamed, fungal, and cystic.
It can also improve texture, tone, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation.
How long does the serum last?
Our 1 oz bottle lasts for about 3-4 months with daily use.
Can I use this with retinol?
Yes, you can use the Mandelic Serum with retinol. However, we suggest that you start using the serum every other day and gradually work your way up to daily use to avoid any potential irritation.
Can I use it if I have rosacea?
Yes, our Mandelic can help improve the appearance of rosacea.
Does it work for aging skin?
Our serum is not only great for acne-prone skin, but also helps with aging skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
What products Should I use with it?
For the best results use alongside other lissy skincare products.
Will my skin purge?
Purging is a sudden breakout after starting a new skincare product. Typically a product that increases your skin cell turnover rate, usually a active/acne treating product. So pretty much a new product that speeds up your skin and brings those breakouts that were eventually going to pop up, surface quicker and sometimes all at once.
This is very normal and usually clear skin is right around the corner!! Stick with new products for at least 4 weeks as your skin adjusts!
Mandelic Serum is an active product, so purging is a possibility. But more often than not our customers experience better skin within just days. Again, it’s somehow magic
Will it dry out my skin?
Unlike other acne products in the market, our Mandelic Serum was made to support your skin barrier and not dry you out. If you have dry skin, use every other night and layer lissy skincare hydrating serum and essential moisturizer on top.
What should I expect to see in my skin after consistent use?
You can expect smoother, clearer, and more radiant skin.
We recommend applying the serum both morning and night. We like to apply it in the morning after applying our Vitamin C serum, but you can apply it before. At night we apply the Mandelic Serum, then the Hydrating Serum, and then moisturize.
You can apply it to a slightly damp face or add a small amount of water to your fingertips, prior to applying. You don’t need much - you don’t want to dilute the serum, but a little dampness will help draw the water into your skin and hydrate it. If you live in a humid climate, you don’t need to add additional moisture.
How does the Hydrating Serum compare to other hydrating serums/gels?
Our serum contains beta glucan, which makes it 20x more hydrating. It also contains all your classic hydrators including hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and hydrating fruit extracts.
Does this serum replace a moisturizer?
The Hydrating Serum is not a moisturizer and we recommend continuing to use a moisturizer with this product.
What should I expect to see in my skin after consistent use?
You can expect a healthier skin barrier and more plump, bouncy, soft, smooth, and hydrated skin.

How do I use the serum? When do I use it?
Our vitamin c serum should be applied every morning after jelly cleanser and before hydrating serum.
Can I use this with the Mandelic Serum?
Yes! We recommend always using Vitamin C in the morning. You can apply the Mandelic Serum in the morning or at night. If you apply them together we suggest Mandelic Serum first and then Vitamin C Serum.
What should I expect to see in my skin after consistent use?
You can expect brighter and more radiant skin. Softening of your fine lines and plumper skin. You can also expect a decrease in hyperpigmentation and acne scars.
A lot of Vitamin C serums cause me to break out - What’s different about Lissy Skincare Vitamin C?
Our Vitamin C Serum is specifically formulated with ingredients that are acne safe. It was especially important to us to make sure that this Vitamin C serum was safe for fungal acne, as well.
jelly cleanser Questions
How do I use the cleanser? When do I use it?
We recommend using it daily, both morning and night. Like most cleansers, you’ll want to start with a damp face. Pump a quarter size amount of the Jelly cleanser into your palm and lather it up. Gently massage the cleanser into your face and then rinse off. Dry your face and apply the rest of your Lissy Skincare products.
Can the cleanser take my makeup off?
Yes! Our cleanser is very gentle, yet cleans so well!
Do I need a second cleanser to double cleanse?
We suggest double cleaning at night and using the Jelly Cleanser for both cleanses.
What should I expect to see in my skin after consistent use?
You can expect clearer skin, less inflammation and dryness, and clean skin without the stripping.
Essential moisturizer Questions
How do I use the Essential Moisturizer? When do I use it?
Use morning and night after cleansing with Jelly Cleanser and applying Lissy Serums, and before Lissy Tinted Sunscreen.
What does this moisturizer feel like?
The Essential Moisturizer is the perfect cream that is not too thin and not too thick. It’s deeply moisturizing without being too heavy on the skin.
Is your moisturizer safe for acne and fungal acne?
Yes. It can feel so hard to find the right moisturizer if you struggle with acne or fungal acne, but that is exactly what our Essential Moisturizer was made for.
What should I expect to see in my skin after consistent use?
You can expect more soft, smooth, plum skin, and an improved skin barrier.

If the product is out of stock online, but I’m a subscriber, will I still get it on my regular subscription date?
Yes! Whatever product(s) you are subscribed to, you are guaranteed that product even if we are out of stock online.
How do I add product(s) to my subscription?
Click “Login” from the main menu, login with the email you used to purchase your subscription. Once signed in, you’ll see your order history. Under that section is your subscription. Click “Manage Subscription” and then “Add product” and you can select all the products you want to add.
