What types of acne can it improve? Does it only help with acne?
Our Mandelic Serum is amazing at clearing multiple types of acne, including hormonal, fungal, cystic, and inflamed.
It can also improve texture and tone, as well as rosacea and hyperpigmentation.
It can't just improve acne, but helps improve the overall health of your skin.
How do I use the serum? When do I use it?
We suggest starting out using our serum once a day, preferably at night after cleansing and before moisturizing. If this causes any irritation, drop down to every other day. If your skin handles active ingredients really well, you can work your way up to twice a day if you feel like your skin needs it.
How long does the serum last?
Our 1 oz bottle lasts for about 3-4 months with daily use.
Can I use this with retinol?
Yes, you can use the Mandelic Serum with retinol. However, we suggest that you start using the serum every other day and gradually work your way up to daily use to avoid any potential irritation.
Can I use this while pregnant/breastfeeding?
Yes! Our serum is pregnancy and breastfeeding safe.
Is it safe for sensitive skin? Can all skin tones use it? Can I use it if I have rosacea?
Our serum is formulated with gentle yet effective ingredients, making it safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin and all skin tones. It also helps in treating rosacea.
Does it work for aging skin?
Our serum is not only great for acne-prone skin, but also helps with aging skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
What products do I use with it?
For best results, use with a gentle cleanser, hydrating moisturizer, and a daily sunscreen.
Will my skin purge?
Purging is a sudden breakout after starting a new skincare product. Typically a product that increases your skin cell turnover rate, usually a active/acne treating product. So pretty much a new product that speeds up your skin and brings those breakouts that were eventually going to pop up, surface quicker and sometimes all at once.
This is very normal and usually clear skin is right around the corner!! Stick with new products for at least 4 weeks as your skin adjusts!
Mandelic Serum is an active product, so purging is a possibility. But more often than not our customers experience better skin within just days. Again, it’s somehow magic ✨
Will it dry out my skin like other acne products?
Unlike other acne products on the market, our serum is not overly drying and helps maintain the health of your skin while effectively treating acne.
